Working in concert with the Worship Team, the Altar Guild is a eam that prepares the sanctuary for the various seasons of the Christian year and for special events. At Church of the Disciple we celebrate Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Holy Week, Easter and the season after Pentecost. Unlike the secular calendar, the Christian year is a storybook that unfolds the loving action of GOd in Christ and our response to Him.

Building upon the body's five senses, the Altar Guild's goal is to create a particular mood for each season and event that enhances our worship experience.
