- Vacation Bible School - We are accepting applications for Vacation Bible School, July 6-10, 2009 from 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm. Participating ages are 3 years old through 6th grade. For more information please contact Terri James VBS Director or call the church @ 972-230-5538.
- Tour of Tables - Committee members are needed for our second annual Tour of Tables on July 25, 2009 from 4 pm – 7 pm. Please let Thelma Clardy know of your interest in participating. Sign-up forms are available in the church foyer.
- Back to School Festival & Health Fair - Saturday, August 15 from 10a – 2pm. Help is needed!
Welcome to the Church of the Disciple
Hello and welcome. You are invited to worship with the Church of the Disciple, located at 220 S. Cockrell Hill Rd. We are a biblically-based, culturally diverse community of faith where we believe Jesus is Lord. Our Sunday worship begins with Sunday School at 9:00 a.m., where our children study in a Rotational Model. There are classes for pre-schoolers, children, youth, adults, men and women focused. You will not want to miss our dynamic worship which begins at 10:15 a.m., with powerful preaching and singing that brings joy to the heart. If you are looking for a place to connect and live out your discipleship faithfully, you are welcome to the Church of the Disciple.
